article data integration challenges for reducing street works integrating utility asset information 'in this article issues associated with sharing geospatial utility asset data are explored. different data issues are discussed along with ways in which these issues can be addressed to produce a solution that meets the needs of all stakeholders. a good example is given with a collaborative approach to utility asset integration and sharing in the uk is the vista project (visualizing integrated information on buried assets to reduce street works). similar initiatives abroad show the necessity of solving the issues addressed here. by anthony beck and graham stickler 58 april/may 2009
